Man Killed in Accident While Driving Scooter on I-95
The 49 year old driver of a scooter has died following a collision with a Nissan Altima on I-95. The deadly crash took place around 5:25 am on 2/21/15 around State Road 9A and Northwest 62nd Street in Miami-Dade. Miramar resident Dale V. Hudson was traveling north on I-95 on his 2011 Kait scooter. According to authorities, 19 year-old Deron Holas of Miami Beach was also traveling north on I-95 when his Altima collided with the back of Hudson’s scooter. The automobile pushed the scooter forward and Hudson was ejected from the scooter. Flames soon engulfed both vehicles, and Hudson died as a result of the crash. Holas was not injured. Authorities indicated that charges are pending.
